Working time or runtime?
You may see battery topics referred to as “run times” and as “working times”. Both statements mean the same thing! STIHL may use these two terms interchangeably, with no difference in meaning. The wording may vary, but the STIHL tool working times and run times are the same.

Battery charging times depend not only on battery capacity, but also on the charger used. For example, the STIHL AK 10 battery takes 95 minutes to charge with the AL 101 charger, but only 40 minutes with the AL 301 charger. The table below shows which chargers are compatible with each STIHL battery, along with the charging times to reach 80% and 100% charge.
