If you bought your STIHL product from a STIHL Approved Dealer, they will register it for you, at which point your warranty period will start. If you bought your tool online from our website, we will register your tool on your behalf.
However, if you would like to give us some feedback about your product and the buying experience, you can complete the form here. To say thank you for sharing your feedback with us, we will send you a free STIHL cap for any purchase up to 90 days ago.
To share this information with us, you will need your serial number, date of purchase and the name and post code of your dealer. It will only take you a few minutes!

The serial number is a 9-digit number that is always part of a barcode label on your tool. If you can't find the serial number, please contact our Customer Service team or your STIHL Approved Dealer.
