All lithium-ion batteries, including lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, are classified as dangerous goods by law. The transport of dangerous goods is subject to the special provisions of the Dangerous Goods Act. These provisions stipulate special requirements for packaging, labelling and transport, and also apply if you return lithium-ion batteries to us (for example, if you as a consumer exercise your statutory right of withdrawal or our voluntary right of return). As the regulations for dangerous goods are highly complex they require a specialist courier service, which can be organised by our Customer service team. Please contact them directly to arrange a return.
You will receive your refund in the same way as the payment. For example, if you paid by credit card, the corresponding amount will be credited back to the same credit card account.
