Recalls of STIHL products
As a responsible manufacturer, every now and then STIHL has to decide to issue a recall for certain products. Full details of any current recalls can be found below.
RMA 235 lawn mower recall
STIHL is recalling a limited production range of RMA 235 battery lawn mowers. It only affects machines within certain serial number ranges.
STIHL MSA 300 chainsaw recall
STIHL recalls a limited number of MSA 300 chainsaws. Machines that have a serial number below 447457319 are affected.
STIHL gloves recall
STIHL is recalling a small number of our glove range having learnt they have been found to be in doubt to meet legal limits for polycyclic-aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH).
STIHL bath duck recall
As a responsible manufacturer, STIHL has decided to recall their bath duck toy. STIHL has learned that a small plastic part may come loose from the toy. This small part can be swallowed by small children, posing a choking hazard.
Sprayer recall
STIHL is recalling a limited production quantity of the SR 430, SR 440 and SR 450 sprayers. All machines with machine numbers from 369259472 up to and including 370391433 are affected.
Cut-off machine recall
STIHL is recalling a limited number of TS 410 and TS 420 cut-off machines due to their flywheel not having been fitted in accordance with the specification. All machines with machine numbers from 189442634 up to and including 190001700are affected.
