STIHL Cashback - Terms and Conditions

“STIHL Cashback Promotion AK-System of battery tools”

Capitalised terms used in these terms and conditions have a particular meaning and to help you find them, we have put them in bold.

Unless the context otherwise requires, words in the singular shall include the plural and words in the plural shall include the singular.

1. Organiser

1.1 The organiser of the STIHL Cashback Promotion AK-System (hereinafter referred to a “Cashback Promotion”) is Andreas STIHL Limited, Contra House, Oak Close, Camberley, GU15 3FG.

1.2 Andreas STIHL Limited (hereinafter referred to as “STIHL”). Company Registration Number: 01376302. VAT ID number: GB296317137.

1.3 NCH Marketing Services Limited (trading as SAVI) (company number 03262245), whose registered office is the address in section 1.4 (hereinafter referred to as “SAVI”), is STIHL’s fulfilment partner for the administration of this Cashback Promotion – this means that SAVI may fulfil some or all of STIHL’s obligations under these terms on behalf of STIHL. Those eligible to participate in the Cashback Promotion in accordance with section 3 (each a “Participant”) acknowledge that they may be required to accept SAVI’s separate terms and conditions when submitting a claim, and that SAVI will process personal data for these purposes in accordance with section 7. For the avoidance of doubt, SAVI’s terms are separate from and do not form part of these terms and conditions.

1.4 The Participant appoints SAVI of Weldon House, Corby Gate Business Park, Corby, Northants NN17 5JG as its agent to conclude the sale and purchase of certain services on its behalf for the purposes of facilitating the payment of cashback and other benefits from STIHL to the Participant. As part of this, SAVI may collect money due to the Participant from STIHL on their behalf and transfer it to the Participant.

2. Promotional Products

2.1 All promotional products purchased online or in store from:

2.1.1  STIHL;

2.1.2  a STIHL Approved Dealer; or

2.1.3 Screwfix

in England, Scotland, Wales or the “Channel Islands” (meaning Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man) from and including 23.03.2026 (“Start Date”) to and including 30.06.2026 (“End Date”) qualify for participation in the Cashback Promotion – see section 2.5 for a list of the promotional products. Any purchases of promotional products before the Start Date or after the End Date will not be eligible for the Cashback Promotion. Promotional products purchased in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland are not eligible for this Cashback Promotion.

2.2 A directory of STIHL Approved Dealers can be found at the following link: https://www.stihl.co.uk/en/dealers.

2.3 A directory of all Screwfix stores can be found at the following link: https://www.screwfix.com/stores.

2.4 The purchase date is the date the Participant purchased the relevant promotional product online or in store from STIHL, a STIHL Approved Dealer, or Screwfix.

2.5 The Cashback Promotion applies to products listed in the table below, subject to availability at STIHL, the relevant STIHL Approved Dealer, or Screwfix. The Cashback Promotion applies to:

2.5.1 standalone “tool only” purchases;

2.5.2 tools purchased together with a battery and charger (whether supplied as a set in a box or as separate components); and

2.5.3 tools purchased as a “starter set” which includes a battery and charger.  

Important:  A Participant may choose to upgrade the battery and/or charger that comes with the promotional product, however only the following batteries and chargers are eligible for this Cashback Promotion, subject to availability.

3. Who Can Participate & Eligibility

3.1 The following cannot participate in the Cashback Promotion:

3.1.1 employees, officers, workers and other personnel of STIHL;

3.1.2 STIHL Approved Dealers;

3.1.3 employees, officers, workers and other personnel of STIHL Approved Dealers;

3.1.4 employees, officers, workers and other personnel of agents or suppliers of STIHL;

3.1.5 employees, officers, workers and other personnel of SAVI; and

3.1.6 members of the immediate families or households of 3.1.1 to 3.1.5 above. 

3.2 Eligible Participants include:

3.2.1 businesses; and

3.2.2 individuals aged 18 years or over (at the date of submitting the online form)

who, between the Start Date and the End Date, purchased a promotional product online or in store from either:

3.2.3 STIHL (including via https://www.stihl.co.uk (“STIHL’s Website”));

3.2.4 a STIHL Approved Dealer; or

3.2.5 Screwfix

in England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and has their registered address in England, Scotland, Wales, or the Channel Islands.

3.3 The Cashback Promotion is limited to successful claims in respect of a maximum of 5 promotional products per Participant. After verification by STIHL of the information provided under section 4, the Participant will receive a cashback amount per eligible promotional product in the amounts set out in the table above. The receipt must show that the tool was purchased either as the tool only, as a set, as a starter kit, or as the tool, battery, and charger purchased separately on the same transaction.

3.4 Participation is only possible in the purchaser’s own name.

3.5 Participation cannot be combined with other STIHL promotions.

4. How to Participate

4.1 Purchase from STIHL Approved Dealers:

Online: Complete the online form at http://www.gardentoolcashback.co.uk/ and upload a photo/scan of your purchase receipt. Delivery notes or order confirmations will not be accepted by STIHL in place of a purchase receipt. The uploaded receipt must clearly show: the STIHL Approved Dealer name, invoice date, product name(s), and purchase date, and must be legible in full. For the avoidance of doubt, the purchase date must be between the Start Date and End Date.

4.2 Purchases on STIHL’s Website

Claims for purchases made on STIHL’s Website must be submitted via the same cashback process as claims for purchases from STIHL Approved Dealers in section 4.1.

4.3 Purchases from Screwfix

Claims for purchases made from Screwfix must be submitted via the same cashback process as claims for purchases from STIHL Approved Dealers in section 4.1.

4.4 Deadline: Submit the completed online form (including uploaded receipt) within 30 days of your purchase. Late or incomplete claims will not be accepted.

4.5 Required Participant information:

4.5.1 registered address;

4.5.2 email address;

4.5.3 bank details for a UK bank account (including account holder name, sort code and account number);  

4.5.4 purchase date;

4.5.5 9-digit serial number of the tool;

4.5.6 the STIHL Approved Dealer name (if applicable); and

4.5.7 the Screwfix store (if applicable).

All information the Participant provides STIHL with must be true and accurate.

4.6 Each claim must relate to an eligible product with a unique serial number. No duplicate serial numbers will be valid for this Cashback Promotion.  

4.7  Participants with incomplete information in the online form will be notified by email and asked to provide missing information. STIHL may request the original receipt before payment. If the requested information or documents are not provided within 21 days of such notification, the Participant’s claim will be withdrawn and nullified without any further liability to STIHL.

5. Cashback Payment

5.1 Payment will be made via bank transfer within 30 days of STIHL’s receipt of a complete online form in accordance with section 4, or receipt of all required information from the Participant, whichever happens last.

5.2 Cashback amount includes VAT (20%).

5.3 STIHL may withhold payment until all required documents (e.g., copy of purchase receipt) are provided and verified by STIHL.

5.4 Payment is made by STIHL to the account specified by the Participant in the online form, such account must be in the Participant’s name.

5.5 Payments are made in GBP (unless STIHL states otherwise). Any currency conversion costs, exchange rate fluctuations and bank fees are at the Participant’s sole expense. STIHL shall not be liable for such charges or fluctuations.

5.6 If payment cannot be made (e.g., incorrect account details provided by the Participant), STIHL will notify the Participant by email to the email address specified in the online form. Failure to provide valid account details within 21 days of STIHL’s notice will result in the claim being treated as withdrawn and nullified without any further liability to STIHL.

5.7 If the purchase of a promotional product is returned/refunded within 6 months from the purchase date, cashback must be repaid by the Participant. Any repayment must be made within 21 days of STIHL’s written request. Repayment must be made to the account details provided by STIHL in its request. STIHL may (on giving reasonable notice to the Participant) deduct the amount to be repaid against any unpaid cashback properly due to the same Participant under this Cashback Promotion.

6. Contact & Exclusion

6.1 Questions: for all questions related to this Cashback Promotion, contact cashbackqueries@saviuk.co.uk.  

6.2 STIHL may exclude Participants if there is any reason to believe that they have breached these terms and conditions, or if they have provided false information, or if they have attempted to exceed 5 successful claims.

6.3 If STIHL excludes Participants because they have breached these terms and conditions, STIHL may require repayment of any cashback already paid to the Participant. Any repayment requested must be made in accordance with the process in section 5.7.

7. Data Protection

STIHL will process your personal information as set out its privacy policy which can be found here: https://www.stihl.co.uk/en/legal-info/privacy-policy.

Personal data will also be collected and processed by SAVI in connection with this Cashback Promotion in accordance with its privacy policy which can be found here: https://saviuk.co.uk/privacy-policy.

8. Liability

In these terms and conditions, a “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside of that individual's trade, business, craft or profession. For example, limited companies are not consumers, nor are individuals participating in the Cashback Promotion wholly or mainly for business purposes.

8.1 STIHL’s liability to Consumers.

STIHL are not responsible for losses the Participant suffers caused by STIHL breaking this contract if the loss is:

· Unexpected: it was not obvious that it would happen and nothing the Participant said to STIHL before STIHL verified the claim meant STIHL should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).

· Caused by a delaying event outside STIHL’s control: as long as STIHL has contacted the Participant as soon as possible to let them know and it has done what it can to reduce the delay. 

· Avoidable: something the Participant could have avoided by taking reasonable action.

STIHL’s liability for any loss the Participant suffers in connection with the Participant’s trade, business, craft or profession is limited, as described in section 8.2 below.

8.2 STIHL’s liability to non-consumers.

If the Participant is not a Consumer, then (except in respect of the losses described in below in section 8.3):

8.2.1 STIHL shall not be liable to the Participant, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with this Cashback Promotion; and

8.2.2 STIHL’s total liability to the Participant for all other losses arising under or in connection with this Cashback Promotion, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to £95 (ninety-five pounds).

8.3  Losses STIHL never limit or exclude.

8.3.1 Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude STIHL’s liability for:

8.3.1.1 death or personal injury caused by negligence to the extent preserved by section 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977;

8.3.1.2 fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

8.3.1.3 any liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Extension, Shortening & Final Provisions

9.1 STIHL reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, amend, extend or shorten the Cashback Promotion due to unforeseen circumstances.

9.2 Participants are responsible for declaring cashback for tax purposes.

9.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law.

9.4 If any Participants to this Cashback Promotion who are Consumers (as described in section 8 above) wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England, Wales, Scotland, or the Channel Islands.

9.5 If any Participants to this Cashback Promotion who are non-consumers wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England and Wales only.
