In Great Britain, we hold the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British Championship every summer. We held our 2018 Championship on Saturday 4th August 2018 at BBC Countryfile Live, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, OX20 1PP. You can watch the highlights from the event here.

There are also three international competitions which take place once a year: the Rookie World Championship, the Champions Trophy and the World Championship.

The Rookie World Championship and Champions Trophy happen at the same time. In 2018, they took place on Saturday 26th May in Marseille, France in front of the MuCEM building with Daniel Gurr from Australia winning the Rookie competition and Stirling Hart from Canada winning the Champions Trophy.

The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship came to Great Britain for the first time ever in 2018. Held at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, the Team World Championship took place on Friday 19th October, whilst the Individual World Championship event took place on Saturday 20th October. Team Australia won the Team Championship setting an impressive new World Record on the way to the title, whilst Laurence O'Toole, also from Australia, was crowned Individual World Champion.
