REMOTE ACCESS

EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL AND IN VIEW. With iMOW® fleet management in STIHL connected, you are always well informed and can view status messages and the digital machine file of your power tools at your desk or on the go. With STIHL connected, you can also change settings for your entire iMOW® fleet, such as the cutting height or the sensitivity of the rain sensor, as well as adjust the mowing plan. In addition, you always have an overview of the location and operating status of your robotic mowers.

iMOW® TEAM FUNCTION

ACHIEVE MORE AS A TEAM. For professional mowing and efficient maintenance of large areas of up to 8,000 m2, such as football pitches, up to 3 robotic mowers can be installed as a team. One boundary wire is sufficient for all robotic mowers. In addition, a guide wire is laid for each robotic lawnmower so that it can reliably find its way to the assigned mowing area and back to its docking station.

DISC-CUT SYSTEM

OPTIMUM MOWING RESULT. High rotational speed and 3 free-swinging, extra-sharp blades ensure a clean cut for grass. The direction of rotation is automatically alternated on a regular basis, extending the life of the blades.

ELECTRIC CUT-HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

THE APP MAKES IT EASY. You can electrically adjust the cutting height of your robotic lawnmower directly via the app.

TOOL-FREE BLADE CHANGE (iMOW)

QUICK AND EASY CHANGEOVER. No tools are required for changing the blades, so you can equip your iMOW® robotic mower with new blades very quickly and easily. To ensure an even cut, it is recommended that you always change all three blades at once.

iMOW® PRO CONTROLS

INTUITIVE OPERATION. The Human-Machine Interface (HMI) enables highly intuitive operation by means of multiple elements. The control panel, consisting of pushbuttons and the rear LED strip, facilitates all important robotic lawnmower control commands on the power tool. The front LED strip provides information about the power tool status and ensures better robot visibility thanks to the daytime driving lights. The robotic lawnmower also features voice output, which informs you about the current task and how much longer it will spend mowing, for example.

PIN CODE

PROTECTION AGAINST UNAUTHORISED USE. The personal PIN code prevents unauthorised persons from operating your iMOW®. It consists of a key combination that you define in the MY iMOW® app. This ensures that only authorised persons can control your robotic lawnmower from the control panel after entering the PIN code.

CUSTOMISABLE LIGHTING COLOUR

LED FRONT STRIP WITH ADJUSTABLE COLOURS. For the daytime running lights in the LED front strip, you can choose between different colours and specify your preferred light colour. By selecting the light colour, you have the option of individually adapting the look of your iMOW® to the corporate identity of a company or the club colours, for example. 

CONNECTIVITY (iMOW® PRO)

OPTIMAL CONTROL. Connectivity functions mean you can control your robotic mower via the app, using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth®. On the PRO models, you can also connect the app to the robotic lawnmower via mobile phone, as the robotic lawnmower is connected to the internet via mobile phone as standard and is therefore always available. 

ZONE MANAGEMENT

PRECISE WORK. If your garden has complex areas such as awkwardly shaped portions, close-together obstacles or similar, you can simplify processing for your iMOW® robotic mower by defining starting points and specifying preferred zones. This makes work more efficient and faster.

ALARM FUNCTION

EXTENDED PROTECTION. If the robotic lawnmower is lifted up, or if the tilt or movement of the power tool changes in an unusual way (carrying detection), an acoustic alarm will be triggered. This switches off automatically when the robot mower is set down again. 

RAIN SENSOR

MOW ON A WEATHER-DEPENDENT BASIS. Thanks to its rain sensor, your iMOW® robotic mower is able to decide whether or not to mow based on the weather. In the settings, you can decide how the robotic lawn mower reacts to rain.

¡MOW® 7 PRO: Professional, fully automatic maintenance of large lawns

The iMOW® 7 PRO is part of the latest generation of iMOW® robotic mowers from STIHL. Designed for mowing commercial areas, it’s the first iMOW® with Team function which allows up to 3 iMOW® robotic mowers to operate in the same mowing zone at one time – providing your lawns with a beautiful, green finish without needing to lift a finger. Capable of cutting lawns of up to 5,000 m2 / 8,000 m2 when working as part of a team, and gradients of up to 45%, the iMOW® is powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery for efficient and continuous work over long working periods.

The iMOW® is controlled using the MY iMOW® app which controls all the functions for the robotic mower, such as sending it out to mow, returning it to the dock, changing the mowing plan, adjusting the cutting height or checking the current status of the iMOW®. The iMOW® 7 PRO has a mobile connection which means you can connect to it via the MY iMOW® app at any time and send it out to mow even when away from the mower. It can also connect to the MY iMOW® app via a WiFi network or Bluetooth connection when close to the machine as well. The iMOW® 7 PRO is integrated with STIHL Connected fleet management too, which always shows the usage information and location of the robotic mower too.

The iMOW® is installed by laying or burying a thin wire around the outer edge of the lawn and around obstacles that might be in the grass, such as shrubs, trees, flower beds or water features. Then, a second wire in the centre of the lawn helps the iMOW® to travel home to charge. If the iMOW® comes across objects in the mowing area then it’s sensors will activate, causing it to slow down, softly bump into it and then go off into another direction. You can install you iMOW® yourself via the MY iMOW® app, which provides guided instructions on how to complete the install. You can also follow our playlist on how to install the iMOW® too! If installing this way, you will need the appropriate installation kit (sold separately) for your lawn size in order to install the iMOW®. For complex lawns with multiple mowing plans, you can request for your local STIHL Approved Dealer to install the iMOW®. To do so, please get in touch with your local STIHL Approved Dealer directly.

The iMOW® is fitted with 3 free-swinging, extra-sharp and robust Duro blades which provide a clean cut lawn every time. These blades rotate each time they stop, and they last twice as long as standard blades thanks to the hardened outer layer. If the blades become damaged, they can easily be replaced as well.

The iMOW® is a mulching mower. Mulching is the process of cutting the grass into small clippings which are then dropped back into the lawn, acting as a natural and nutrient-rich fertiliser. Plus you have the added bonus of not having to empty a grass catcher box again! Because the iMOW® cuts the grass little and often, the clippings decompose quickly – leaving no trace of them, apart from a well-nourished, lush, green lawn.

You can build a dynamic mowing plan for your iMOW® which is tailored to your needs and program it to mow at a time that is convenient for you. Rain sensors on the iMOW® detect when it rains so you can choose whether to let the iMOW® continue to work in the rain or make up the mowing time when it dries up. Thanks to the intuitive software of the iMOW®, you don’t have to worry about charging it either – when the iMOW® finishes its mowing plan it finds its way back to its weather-proof docking station and charges itself efficiently, ready for the next time it goes out to cut. If the robotic mower is detected being carried, it triggers an alarm signal, which is switched off automatically when the iMOW® 7 PRO is set down. The iMOW® 7 PRO automatically disables its control functions if it is removed from its previously defined home area which acts as theft protection.

If you want to check the status of the iMOW® or can’t access the MY iMOW® app, you can press the info button on the control panel at the top of the iMOW® which will talk to you and tell you when the next mowing session is. Using these buttons you can send the iMOW® home, out to mow or lock the mower without going onto the app. The iMOW® 7 PRO also has an LED matrix display at the top of the iMOW which shows the current status, such as spinning blade when mowing or a padlock when locked in the dock.

Please be aware that the iMOW® robotic mower is not a toy. Children and small animals must be kept away from the mowing area when it is out to mow. You must also make sure the mowing area is clear of small objects. For further safety information, please read the instruction manual.
