Our strategy ensures we deliver training that fulfils each development area, to recognise the importance of safety/well-being; individual talent and knowing the products that drive our business.
To ensure we provide the right development for colleagues from the outset, we have a comprehensive induction programme.
For the ongoing development of STIHL colleagues, our Learning and Development department supports the business by managing all training requests including those areas highlighted in our annual Performance Development Reviews. In 2017 we are launching a comprehensive Leadership Development Programme for all of our People Managers and this will be followed by an exciting Talent Development Programme.
Every 6 months we issue a schedule of all classroom training available for colleagues to emphasize the importance of our key development areas. We also provide flexible learning options in the form of webinars and e-Learning via our online platform - STIHL Training. Our modules are designed in-house, to share product related technical and sales information.
