AUTOMATIC DECOMPRESSION

EFFORTLESS STARTING. Automatic decompression makes it easier to start the engine. This is because the system automatically opens the intake valve when the engine is started; the opening time of the valve is extended, and as a result the compression pressure is reduced. This significantly reduces the force required on the starter cord.

FOR FANTASTIC ENGINE POWER WITH LOW MAINTENANCE. The STIHL 4-MIX® engine is a four-stroke engine that does not require any oil circuit components, thanks to refuelling with an oil and gasoline mix. That’s why it’s more compact, more lightweight, and requires less maintenance than conventional four-stroke engines, while at the same time being powerful and offering a comfortable sound pattern. STIHL 4-MIX® engines comply with the European Stage V emissions directive.

MANUAL FUEL PUMP

FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.

BIKE HANDLE

When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue.

STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM

FOR MORE PLEASANT WORK. Vibrations can occur when you put your tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The display on the handle bar of your lawn mower tells you the charge level of the batteries, the working mode you have selected, the maximum speed setting and possible faults with the mower. This allows you to see important information at a glance so you can work effectively at all times. In addition, you can use the HMI to make changes to settings such as the driving speed or mowing mode.

STOP BUTTON

RESTART WORK QUICKLY. With the stop button, you can switch off your tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
